Own a piece of historic Cape Town, during the 18th century the slave quarters (c/o Addeley and Wale Streets) was a hospital, since the patients were unable to rest due to the noise by the wheels (and horses hooves) on stone cobbles, they were removed and replaced with wooden cobble 'stones' that had been imported at great expense.
These pieces are rare.
